The doctor Esprit Calvet left his collections to the city in 1810, and they became one of the oldest museums of France outside Paris. It is housed in an 18th-century town house on the Rue Joseph Vernet.

It holds paintings, sculpture and antiquities, among them works by the Vernet family, painters born in Avignon. Visit it in 3D ›
