Bishop Bernold had the Pieterskerk built as the eastern arm of his cross of churches, and it was consecrated in 1048. It is one of the few Romanesque churches left in the Netherlands, with red sandstone columns inside and a crypt under the raised choir.

Since the 17th century the Walloon congregation, French-speaking Protestants, has used it. Visit it in 3D ›
