St Saviour’s is the oldest parish church of Bruges, rebuilt in brick from the 13th century on. When the old cathedral of St Donatian on the Burg was pulled down after the French Revolution, St Saviour’s took its place.

Its tower got its odd, romantic top in the 19th century. Inside hang tapestries and paintings by Flemish masters.
