Brussels is the capital of the bande dessinée: Hergé, the creator of Tintin, was born here, and many great comics came out of the city. Since 1991 more than sixty gable walls have been painted with comic scenes.

A walk through the old town takes you past Tintin and Captain Haddock on a fire escape, Asterix, the Smurfs and Lucky Luke. The Comics Museum is in an Art Nouveau department store by Victor Horta. Ride through Brussels in 3D ›
