Plaza de la Villa
A small square of three buildings from three centuries, the old heart of Madrid’s government.
On this little square off the Calle Mayor stand the Casa de la Villa, the old town hall of the 17th century, the Torre de los Lujanes from the 15th, one of the oldest buildings in the city, and the Casa de Cisneros from the 16th.
Madrid’s council met here until 2007.
